If it weren’t for this program, I’d still be walking this road alone. But today, I’m surrounded by people who support me, encourage me, and love me the way Jesus commands us to love – with truth, with compassion, and without conditions.
Hi, my name is Becky, And I’m a grateful believer in Jesus Christ who struggles with alcohol and drug addiction.
Addiction cost me nearly everything. I lost custody of my kids, my marriage, and eventually – my self-worth.
The more I used, the more I lost. And the more I lost, the more I used. It was a cycle that left me empty and broken.
At my lowest point, I was living with a murderer, deep in the wilderness, And I honestly believed I was going to die there.
I accepted it. I thought nobody would even care.
But in that place – where I felt completely alone – I leaned on God more than I ever had before. And He heard me. He answered my prayers.
On September 19th, 2024, God brought me back to my kids and my family. He rescued me from a life I didn’t think I’d escape. Praise God.
Now, I’m back full-time with my now adult children. I’m working through the trauma – day by day – And through it all, I’m learning to show God’s grace and live in the joy He gives.
If it weren’t for this program, I’d still be walking this road alone. But today, I’m surrounded by people who support me, encourage me, and love me the way Jesus commands us to love – with truth, with compassion, and without conditions.
I hold on to Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” and I believe that – because I’m living proof of it.
If you’re here tonight and you’re struggling, please hear me when I say this: There is hope. You are not forgotten. God has a plan for your life.
